We are seeking individuals to work in our Player Services Areas to play a crucial part in crafting the 2025 US Open player experience! 

 

Start Date: August 12, 2025

End Date: September 7, 2025

Must be available every day 

 

 

The Role 

 

The Player Services Areas team strives to provide excellent customer service to all US Open players and their teams during the tournament, and works behind-the-scenes to ensure a seamless operation. This is a single application and process for all of the areas listed below, and if selected, candidates will be placed into one specific area for the duration of the tournament. 

 

 

Practice Court Reservation Staff 

 

  • Assist with managing daily practice court reservations and track court usage.
  • Support the smooth operation of the practice courts by ensuring players' needs are met and the courts are kept clean and ready for use. 
  • Apply critical problem solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Practice Court Attendant 

  • Assist with ensuring practice courts are tidy, and ready for use.
  • Restock the practice courts with towels and water.
  • Assist with drying the courts when necessary.

Locker Room Attendant

  • Assist players and maintain the overall cleanliness, and presentation of the player locker rooms.
  • Ensure that the locker room is stocked and organized, providing players with a welcoming and comfortable environment. 

 

Fitness Center Attendant

 

  • Ensure the safety and security of the fitness center equipment. 
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the fitness center, ensuring it is a safe and welcoming environment for the players. 

 

Player Escort/Golf Cart Escort 

 

  • Escort players to and from match courts, practice areas, and other designated locations on the tournament grounds.
  • Maintain a calm and professional demeanor while providing a smooth and efficient experience for players navigating the grounds. 

Player Ambassadors

  • Greet and direct incoming visitors, players, and their teams.
  • Maintain a positive and energetic attitude throughout the event.
  • Stand for extended periods and interact with attendees, also providing some direction around player areas when needed.

 

Player Services Desk Staff

 

  • Provide excellent customer service for miscellaneous player requests including ticketing support, stitcher requests, player relations support.
  • Apply problem solving and critical thinking skills to a broad range of tasks.

  • Interpersonal skills: Strong communication and people skills, and can interact with players, staff, and other tournament participants professionally and respectfully.
  • High Energy & Strong Work Ethic: Ready to take on long hours and the demands of a tournament environment. 
  • Dynamic & Positive: Approaches challenges with a “can-do” attitude and remains calm and positive, even in high-pressure situations. 
  • Tournament Commitment: Must be available to work every day of the tournament from August 12 to September 7, including weekends. (7 days per week)

 

What We Offer

 

Compensation: This is a non-exempt position with an hourly rate of $18.00.

 

Uniforms: Employees will be provided with uniforms to ensure a professional and cohesive team appearance.

 

Daily Meal Allowance: A meal allowance will be loaded onto your credentials each workday, allowing you to enjoy meals on-site during your shift.
